Have you ever head of a Yes Day? My kids have been begging me for one of these and now that Yes Day is a new movie heading to Netflix on March 12th, the pressure is mounting. A "yes day" is a day when you can't say "no" to any requests. My 9-year old has found a few YouTube videos about these so when we watched the trailer for Yes Day on Netflix, he was so excited! Check out the trailer below!
Yes Day Coming Soon to Netflix - Trailer
This movie looks like it will be pure fun that parents and kids will be able to enjoy together. I love Jennifer Garner and seeing her take on the mom role in this movie is really exciting. I can certainly relate to her character that feels like she is always saying "no" and wants to show her kids that she can be "cool" and "fun." The hijinx that ensues in the trailer is exactly what I imagine my kids would be like if they knew that my husband and I would say "yes" for an entire day!
Family comedies are just what we need more of these days and I couldn't be happier to see Netflix continuing to crank out some great options. If you missed my reviews of We Can Be Heroes or Finding 'Ohana, you'll want to check those out as they are other great options to enjoy with the family.
So who is ready to jump on the Yes Day bandwagon? I still don't know if I'm ready to commit to a full yes day with my kids, but I know I can't wait to watch this movie with them. . .and who knows, maybe we'll be inspired to say "yes" more often to their crazy ideas!
Always feeling like they have to say NO to their kids and co-workers, Allison and Carlos decide to give their three kids a YES DAY -- where for 24 hours the kids make the rules. Little did they know that they'd be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that would bring the family closer to each other than ever before.
