Arlo the Alligator Boy is a fun, albeit unusual, story for kids and families to enjoy. While the characters are a mix of unique individuals, the story is relevant and relatable for anyone who tunes into the film. Arlo is a young boy trying to figure out where he fits in with the world around him. In fact, all of the friends Arlo makes along the way are figuring out their own stories. What they learn along the way is that your true friends love and accept you for who you are - they won't ever ask or expect you to change. Arlo is an endearing character who is so positive and naive, you can't help but fall in love with his infectious personality. Not only is he enjoyable to watch, but his musical numbers are catchy and carry the storyline forward. Don't let the "look" of the film deter you from watching if it doesn't appear to be your style - it's really cute and uplifting!
