The Bob's Burgers Movie brought the popular animated series to the big screen and now you can find it on demand and DVD. When you see animation, you automatically think family friendly, but we've learned over the years that not all animated series and movies are for kids. So, can you watch The Bob's Burgers Movie with your kids? Check out my review and parent's guide as you bring the laughs into your home with The Bob's Burgers Movie.
The Bob's Burgers Movie Review
The Bob's Burgers Movie begins with Bob's restaurant in jeopardy of closing its doors. With financial trouble and foreclosure looming, Bob and his family are trying to think of how they can save the restaurant. As if things couldn't get worse, a large hole opens up right in front of the restaurant and becomes the focus of a murder mystery. The kids begin working to solve the murder and save the restaurant at the same time.

I laughed out loud regularly throughout The Bob's Burgers Movie. I fell in love with each of the members of the Belcher family - but particularly the kids. Louise is my absolute favorite as she battles the peer pressures of school while flexing her intelligence and shining as she leads the family through the murder investigation. There are also several musical numbers that will have you toe-tapping along with the characters.
Is The Bob's Burgers Movie OK for Kids?

The Bob's Burgers Movie is made more for adults than kids with it's PG-13 rating. While the movie is filled with laughs, it is a mature humor with jokes like punching someone "in the nuts." "sex sells," and more. I wouldn't mind my 10 year old being in the room while I was watching it, partially though because I don't think the comedy and story would hold his interest. Teenagers and adults will enjoy The Bob's Burgers Movie as an enjoyable escape from the norm.
