The 2022 holiday season is upon us and once again, Netflix is bringing some festive family fun to help even the tiniest of Tims get into the spirit. We caught up on the new releases and are excited to share more about them!
The Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus - My boys have really enjoyed the Boss Baby series on Netflix following the releases of the popular films. This year, Netflix brings a holiday twist to the show as the Boss Baby himself heads north. . .to the North Pole to be exact. You can just imagine what a profit-driven, efficiency expert like the Boss Baby has to say about the work of Santa and elves, right? Throughout the special, which clocks in at under an hour, the Templeton brothers once again learn some valuable lessons about themselves and the meaning of Christmas - including those family traditions which may sometimes seem annoying!

My Little Pony: Winter Wishday - Follow everyone's favorite little ponies on a whirlwind adventure. Audiences will delight with their familiar friends as the ponies try to experience all of their Christmas traditions and make it back to share gifts under the Wishing Star. Scrooge: A Christmas Carol - Bah humbug! What can another A Christmas Carol version offer? Well, in this children's movie. . .it turns out that it will offer up a lot. My 7 year old son was mesmerized during this film, more so than any other version he's watched before - including those done by Mickey Mouse and The Muppets. Featuring some musical numbers that are surprisingly well done, this cartoon version does sometimes take a pretty scary turn. I was waiting for him to express a little fear and apprehension, but he didn't. Just be warned if you're watching with young children who may be a little jumpy - those Christmas spirits can get a little intense.
